Day 1 – Arrival Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 – Exploring Buenos Aires – Morning City Tour
Explore the city with a local guide and discover the culture and history revealed in the ‘Paris of South America’. Stroll along ‘9 de Julio Avenue’ and the famous La Boca district where you can admire the wonderful architecture and historic buildings. As you wind your way through the streets of Buenos Aires, don’t be surprised if you happen upon star-crossed lovers dancing in the streets. Enjoy a free afternoon to bask in the delights that Buenos Aires has to offer, including its famous cafe culture and endless streets of shopping and the legendary Tango!
Day 3 - Buenos Aires
Take the morning at your leisure and explore the authentic Buenos Aires. In the early evening we will transport you to one of the Tangueras (Tango Shows) in Buenos Aires where you will savour true Argentine cuisine and the internationally renowned Argentine wines. Then you will be ready for the Tango lesson! Dancers from the show will teach the basic steps of tango. You will try the world famous the Argentine "Bife de Chorizo" during the Tango performance show.
Day 4 - Buenos Aires - Trelew – Puerto Madryn
Today you'll head off to the stunning Peninsula Valdes. Stop to take a few photos before arriving in Puerto Madryn in the afternoon. At Punta Tombo Penguin colony you will observe the marvelous Magellan Penguins. The local guide will explain all about the rockery that is home two million residents which is considered the most important continental penguin rockery in Argentina. In the afternoon you will arrive to Puerto Madryn.
Day 5 - Puerto Madryn
Today you will explore the Peninsula Valdes, Punta Norte or Caleta Valdes Fauna Reserve (depending on where the fauna is at that moment), habitat of spectacular sea elephants, sea lions and fur seals among others. From September to the end of November you will also have the opportunity to see the breathtaking Wright Whales that every year come to Golfo Nuevo to breed. In the evening you will return to Puerto Madryn.
Day 6 - Puerto Madryn – Ushuaia
Today you’ll head to Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city, and gateway to Antarctica to continue your experience in Tierra del Fuego!
Day 7 - Ushuaia
In the morning you'll meet at the hotel for an excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park. The majestic and awe-inspiring scenery will be one of the highlights of your adventure where you will experience nature at its best. You will board a catamaran and sail the waters of the Beagle Channel, which unites the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. You'll have a chance to see a wide variety of sea birds and colonies of sea lions in their habitat before heading back to your hotel.
Day 8 - Calafate
Today you will fly to El Calafate where you will start your Antartic adventure!
Day 9 - El Calafate
Prepare to experience one of the most stunning places in Argentina: Perito Moreno Glacier. The deep silence is suddenly ripped apart by the tremendous noise of huge pieces of ice that crack and fall from the glacier to float on the Canal de los Tempanos (Icebergs Channel).
Day 10 - El Calafate
Today is a leisure day. We recommend some time exploring the magnificent Glacier National Park. Visit the main lookout point for an awesome panorama of this UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site or navigate closer to the glacier walls via a guided motorboat.
Day 11 - El Calafate – Buenos Aires
Flight to Buenos Aires.
Day 12 - Buenos Aires - Iguazu
After breakfast fly to Iguazu Falls. You will visit the Argentinean side of the Iguazu Falls, located within the Iguazu National Park, one of the first protected areas in South America and also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site. You will walk the paths and take the train to admire the amazing Falls from different viewpoints.
Day 13 - Iguazu – Buenos Aires
Transfer to the airport on the Argentine side and then transfer from domestic airport to Ezeiza airport for your flight home.
