Day 1 - Manaus


Upon arrival at Manaus airport you will be met by one of our representatives for your private transfer to the hotel. Once you’ve checked in and chilled out, join us for a privately guided tour of the capital of the Amazones, Manaus City. This highly engaging tour includes the many wonderful sights and sounds of this bustling city including a visit to the stunning Opera House.


Day 2 – Manaus to Anavilhanas Lodge


After breakfast we head for the jungle! Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge is a small and exclusive Boutique Lodge situated in the heart of the Amazon rainforest. Resting in front of Anavilhanas, the world’s largest fresh water archipelago, the Lodge lies along the black waters of the Rio Negro and is blessed with the sounds, smells and mysteries of the Amazon Jungle. Free of mosquitoes and nested within a vast stretch of untouched rainforest, you will experience the perfect balance between Nature and comfort, adventure and peace. After lunch embark on a spectacular tour through Anavilhanas archipelago in traditional boats and maybe even spot some alligators along the way!


Day 3 - Anavilhanas Lodge


After a sumptuous buffet breakfast served at the lodge, put on your walking shoes for a Jungle trek! This short hike introduces you to the Amazon rainforest and its exotic flora & fauna. After a well-deserved lunch, you’ll have the opportunity to swim with the famed Amazonian pink dolphins before continuing onward to the wonderful little craft shops in Novo Airão.


Day 4 - Anavilhanas Lodge


Rise with the sun and take to the waters with us to enjoy some dawn bird watching by canoe. After returning to the lodge for a healthy hearty breakfast we are water-bound again but with an entirely different focus. This morning you will be fishing for Piranhas – let's hope you get a bite! In the afternoon you will visit the Tiririca’s Community and learn about their history and customs.


Day 5 - Anavilhanas Lodge


Today you will explore the most beautiful riverbanks around the lodge in typical wooden canoes, enjoy the sounds and stunning landscape that rise to meet you around every river bend and waterway of the great Amazon Rainforest. To top it off, join us for a visit to a Snake yard before heading back to the Lodge.


Day 6 - Anavilhanas Lodge


Today we have our sights set on some Bow and Arrow practice with a genuine Waimiri-Atroari Indian expert. You will learn all about the skills and materials used to make the traditional bow and arrow, understand how they are constructed, learn correct handling techniques and finally take aim and release.

After lunch transfer from lodge to Manaus airport for your departing flight.
